The Educator's PLN

The personal learning network for educators

Hi, I am currently taking a summer course at Illinois State University about Assistive Technology, and we are learning about developing our PLN. For one of our projects we are doing a case study on a student with a disability (the student and situation is all hypothetical). My student uses a power wheel chair and has limited physical mobility as well as limited communication abilities. Does anyone know of tools that we could "use" with our student?? Any help is appreciated!

Hi Natalie,

Take a look at the links from the UDL webpage from my school district.

It provides examples of the type of design used in different environments.

Make sure to explore the "Browse Resources" on the left column.

Hope it helps... have fun:)

Thank you Jackie!

Yes, that was very helpful and I like how your district's website is so organized! It is very easy to find things and the resources were helpful, thanks!
