I've just entered a new school. It's a high-performing, successful independent school. The challenge is that the school's success prevents them from seeing the need to integrate meaningful technology into their teaching - they don't think they need to. How can I establish need over time, while valuing what they bring and have been successful doing (though from another era)?
Thanks!

Our school system is going to plan a huge dive into Google Apps Integration. Has anyone already done this? Would love to hear some ideas going into planning!

PLN? there is a local elementary school that I am working to help integrate technology and create a technology strategy. Each teacher--some are early adopters and others need more proof--wants to see how other schools an/or classrooms are "measuring" the use of technology? what process are in place in your respective schools to monitor this integration? How is it being used (small group, whole class, individualized)? How do you know? What results are you seeing? How are you leading it? Any feedback and discussion would be most appreciated.

That is a fantastic resolution Cowpernicus! What convinced me about Twitter as a powerful learning tool was when I discovered how quickly/easily I could access passionate educators from across the globe. This network has allowed me to grow professionally and learn more in less than year than I had from any other PD experience over the past 6 years! Together we are better!
