Hello everyone what in your mind is the "Glow" (something positive) in Canadian Education? What is the "Grow" (opportunity for change) in Canadian Education?

Glow in Canada: Much greater level of teacher autonomy and the resulting professionalism.

Grow in Canada: Funding and equity issues in Aboriginal education, as well as our continued movement toward a "one size fits all" education system in some parts of our country.

Are you in favour of a "one size fits all"? educational system?  Do you mean through nationalizing curriculum (remember that movement?) or through inclusion?

The teacher autonomy is awesome!  I wonder if it is because of how teachers are trained in Canada.  Is it because of our training that the system has more faith in us?
