You can also join the Diigo Educators group. Over 1700 people strong - it's an instant network so you don't have to wait for followers to build your social bookmarking PLN.

I started a Diigo account last year just to try it out; at that time I imported all of my existing Delicious bookmarks and picked the option in Diigo to continue saving my bookmarks simultaneously to Delicious. I'm really glad now that I did that!

My sentiment too Tom. But I have found recently that I'm getting a whole lot of new followers in diigo as delicious users start exporting their bookmarks.

I exported about 800 bookmarks, but I hate leaving my network of 130 people giving me access to 175,000 Edu bookmarks.

How many bookmarks do you have? I have about 500. Will Diigo be able to handle this many?

Yahoo is downsizing and is considering looking to sell off Delicious. I am maintaining my Delicious account, but I have Exported all my bookmarks to Diigo. I am bookmarking on Both.

Has anyone else heard that Yahoo is taking down the Delicious site in the very near future? One of my colleagues at work told me this and frankly, I am really upset.

Hi all, I teach Gifted students in a out-of-school withdrawal program. I do not have a curriculum to follow therefore I am constantly on the search for resource 'gems' that I can use to stimulate and engage my students. My delicious account is plentiful! Here is my link http://delicious.com/mrse4me

Use these two words and become a better student

Words are powerful. And you do not only know that since your last exam. A single word can change everything: it can make you the victor, save relationships, calm you down or pull you into the abyss.Finding the right words is an art that not everyone masters. Some use their words inflationary and put one empty phrase to the next. Others put every word on the gold scale and interpret everything possible into what is said. But your choice of words not only affects how other people perceive you. Your…See More

Online Education: Can It Really Replace Learning in Classrooms?

In the modern world education is a part of everyone's life. Even if someone did not graduate from college or finish school, they still learn new skills or just something they are interested in. That can likewise be called education, or, even a more appropriate term is self-education. This concept is closely related to…See More
