UPDATE: Thank you everyone for replying! To get an invite, please read the thread and send a message to the person's inbox. Remember to be patient because it can take from a week to a month to receive an invite. I received mine a week after I was invited. It is not instantaneous.

Marisa shared this website to register for an invite. Do this as a back up and you should get an invite within a month.

Just be patient, because even with an invite it takes time!

I'd be thrilled to get an invite gor google wave.
I was not able to invite anyone to Wave. Anyone else have that issue? I've got a few friends looking for invites and I can't do anything about it. Glad I got in myself, though ;-)
