Going to ISTE and interested in PBL? Please join my session on Wed. (6/29), 11:45 a.m., on "Ripped from the Headlines Projects." Get some ideas from colleagues and a special guest about using the news as jumping-off point for inquiry-driven projects. See you there!

@Lisa- I noticed you said "dissertation". If I may ask- where is your PhD/EdD program and what for?

It's getting closer and my excitement level is going up.  There are so many great sessions that I have already put into my planner.  If I get to even half that will be great.  I'm really hoping that all the TPACK sessions will help with my dissertation.

I've been enjoying the process of identifying what sessions I want to go to using the ISTE 2011 planner. So many choices!

Happy Friday! Heidi Ellis from ISTE posted this to the ISTE newbie Ning:

Here are the recordings from the webinars that took place May 26 and June 2:   May 26: http://iste.acrobat.com/p6byshx65z4/   June 2: http://iste.acrobat.com/p8inqcbyt75/

There are some fantastic pointers about eating, transportation and attending the conference in general. Enjoy the conference and the amazing, beautiful city of Philadelphia!

Proud to be a newbie this year and can't wait to meet my PLN! It has been a transformative year of learning and teaching for me. Eager to continue learning with you all! Any tips a newbie should know before arriving in Philly?

I'm technically not a newbie ( I worked the exhibit hall for Edutopia 2 years ago in DC) but this year will be the first year I'll be attending as press and going to the workshops. Very exciting! Anyone going to the Drupal or QR codes workshop? I was debating between the two since they are in the same time slot.

Integration with The Latest Technology in Education Field

It is with certainty that we can say that the future of education is looking very bright. Today the kids are taught so many new innovations that we adults couldn't have imagined learning at school. They are also given exposure to more practical lessons.
