I put this together for our blog ( http://blog.teachtci.com ) and thought of this group...especially the last three items on this as they are all great apps for the iPad.

On the iPad2 / iPhone, Bakodo is a great app that does a nice job and keeps a history as well.

Kate, loved the link to your post! With the hundreds of thousands of apps, it's like finding a needle in a haystack sometimes when it comes to finding good apps for teachers.
Here is a link to a post on our blog where we highlight some great social studies and productivity apps: http://blog.teachtci.com/more-great-social-studies-apps
Thanks for your reply Kate. Sorry I didn't explain myself better.
The HDMI cable (and the VGA cable) projects the ipad screen onto the IWB - I was hoping that iPad games might be able to be controlled through the IWB i.e. move an object on the IWB and it moves on the iPad and vice versa. I've since discovered this isn't possible. Oh well, something to look out for in iPad 3 :)
I listed my class's favorite apps in reply to a blog post on Brainpop. I put a copy of our reply on my blog.
After spending a few days with an iPad2, I wrote a blog about my first impressions. I do appreciate the cameras and it is definitely lighter than the original model. I have yet to decide if the speed makes enough of a difference to justify an upgrade. After more time using it on a day-to-day basis I will blog about the comparison to the original model. Soon 3 more iPads will be delivered for my classroom. So far, I have had only one and I can't wait to have THREE! Oh the possibilities...
