The Educator's PLN

The personal learning network for educators

Hi Everyone,

I thought I would get a discussion going regarding our present experiences in Online Teaching and Learning.  I received my Masters in Online Teaching and Learning from CSUEB several years ago.  Since receiving the degree, I have begun to branch out and increase my OTL experiences.  I have been developing and facilitating online PD courses for my school district.  In addition, I have been teaching for Virtual High School.  This year I developed a Video Game Design and Development course for VHS and just completed teaching the first semester of the course.  It was a great semester and I look forward to continuing to teach this course to middle and high school students.  Finally, I have been teaching a graduate level Best Practices Web 2.0 course as part of the online teaching certificate program offered through the VHS PD program.  That's my story.  Please share yours.

Do you currently teach online?  If so, what level?  what course(s)?  Are you looking for online employment opportunities?  Are you looking for online teachers to fill positions at your institution?

I look forward to hearing everyone's responses as we continue to network.
