Who's writing THE book on using Twitter in the classroom?
We want to publish it along with a corresponding online course for teacher professional development.
Or... maybe just the online course.
I know of many of the Twitter in education resource sites/links, but looking for someone to distill all that and combine it with best practices into a format for NON-Twitter using teachers.
I am interested in this idea because of the overlap that there might be between this project and the use of Twitter for Life Long Learning. A look at #learning3 will be my starting point and I anticipate that this will develop into something more formal with case studies. Are you suggesting a crowd sourced book? Will it be a free shared online publication as well or in part? Are you thinking of a development built on the experience of the #movemeon work?
Geoffrey adds an exciting idea that there is an overlap between twitter and lifelong learning. How true.
There is just so much wonderful information contained in tweets.
Interesting article about why teachers should try twitter written by a teacher. http://www.ascd.org/publications/educational-leadership/feb10/vol67... hours ago
