I have a team of 6th grade teachers that are using Twitter classroom accounts to keep their parents and students informed and provide resources to use at home. They have Widgets embedded in their SchoolCenter web pages so their school site is always up to date. I made a small resource page (thanks for the idea/resources @tgwynn) for my teachers here: http://ncmstech.pbworks.com/Twitter

Great Link, Steven, I put it up on my Facebook profile since my following is mainly teachers, current and ex trainees of mine, but many of them, strangely reluctant to get more deeply involved in Twitter!

Have learned so much from PLN in Twitter. Highly recommend some sort of organizational tool once you get going to keep everything together. I use Tweetdeck. Am TamL17 in Twitter.

I found this link earlier today on Advice for Twittering Educators...I love the first piece of advice...Work out what you want to get out of Twitter. It is so important to remember that you what you get out of Twitter is what you put in.
