Hello Marie - below is a link to a huge database of teachers or educators who have a Twitter account.  I think you should be able to find a class or school to work with from this resource.   Please keep us abreast on how the project goes.

Twitter for Teachers

I have my class on twitter and am looking for other classes to follow and to follow us. We just joined in the last 2 weeks but need more followers to make it really exciting. We can be found at @mrsdoherty1011. Is there anywhere I can go to find other schools on twitter.

If you're interested in a social media experience for the classroom, I recommend using Collaborize Classroom (you can read a write up about it in the post Stirring Up Classroom Discussion).

If you're familiar with Edmodo, this site is similar, but allows students a bit more control in creating content. It's free, and incredibly well-supported with teacher guides and resources.

Hello Team - I have an interesting, quick read created by PBS.  The report explains how K-12 and higher ed teachers are increasingly relying on Media and Technology in their classroom.  Video is leading the pact, but other forms of multimedia are moving forward.  Deeping Connections

I recently discovered another PLN, dealing with the iPad in the educational setting.  This site contains excellent resources, articles, and tips when an institution is integrating this new device in the classroom. Ipads in Education

I heard that deli.cio.us may be closing or being sold. Are there any other social bookmarking sites that teachers find useful to share their bookmarks with their faculties?

Has anyone used Googlio in the classroom? I came across it on a posting from a PLN follower.
