Wow!  That's pretty extensive!  I can't wait to look at it in more detail.  You must be really proud of all that work.  Maybe I can show my blog readers at some point?  Iste is so overwhelming, but I'm learninng some great stuff and meeting a lot of my PLN in person, which is very cool!

Have a good rest of your week!

Hi Again!  Awesome!  the Blues.  I have a couple of posts on the blues and jazz in relation to teaching and ELA (also ELL).  Please check them out, share them and let me know if you want to talk about any of it in more depth.  One of my favorite lessons was when my students wrote the Erosion Blues for their science unit on land and water.  The song is on that post.  We listened to a lot of blues during that month and discussed it's importance to our American history and culture.

Keep me posted on how it goes!

That's all great! I wish you were closer too so that we could meet at the class this summer. BUT building a relationship through a PLN is so effective as well. Are you on Twitter yet?

I would love to hear about how your thesis is going.  Sounds like you are primed for arts integration with the background you have.  I'm sure we can learn from one another.  (Maybe someday you would like to guest blog on my website???)

FYI - I will be giving a webinar in late July on Music and Literacy through the RSCON.

Let's keep this conversation going.  Maybe we can Skype sometime too.  Enjoy the rest of your week! :)

Hi Alicia, I would love to be your mentor.  Please tell me more about you!  Where are you student teaching? What grade level? Anything else...  I see you like cats.  That's a good thing too!  Talk soon.

Elizabeth
