Hi Deb,

Thanks for replying. I appreciate it! Hopefully we'll be able to collaborate in the near future. By the way, back in 1997, I spent about 6 months in Australia. I backpacked my way around the country, working as a fruit picker along the way to pay for my travels. Wonderful memories. Beautiful country!

Hi Deb!

Hope all is well with you.  My daughter has to do a country report and she got Australia.  Can she use you as a resource?

Also - a former student of mine is blogging.  Could you take a moment to comment on his blog.  It would mean so much to him.

Thanks!

Hi Deb!

One of my students left a message for you on the blog.  Here is a direct link.  http://kidblog.org/MrsRumsey/Luke269/mrs-hogg-5/

I did a chapel on laughter last week.  When I showed the video of the Aboriginal Dancers that you sent us, the kids laughed and laughed!  It inspired me to do a chapel talk about laughter.  I even explained the video in chapel and marveled at how the kids thought it was hilarious.  All the kids in chapel (kindergarten-4th grade)  wanted to see the dancers, so I forward the video link on to their teachers.

Hope all is well,

Angie

My students did a tiny bit of research about Australia!  They had a lot of motivation to learn about your country!  Hope you enjoy the posts!

You are right about the ignorance of Americans!  Not sure what the remedy is!  Maybe it is the result of our melting pot??

NO WORRIES!  We are a Christian school and boldly profess Christ in ALL we do!  As in Australia, public school teachers need to be careful about religious content.  Private/Christian school are proud of the freedom we have to bring religion into every aspect of our day.

I am very happy you posted again!  Please continue to come back.  This is EXACTLY what blogging is supposed to be about!  I think I will have them write a letter to you on their next post - so stay in touch!

Integration with The Latest Technology in Education Field

It is with certainty that we can say that the future of education is looking very bright. Today the kids are taught so many new innovations that we adults couldn't have imagined learning at school. They are also given exposure to more practical lessons. Integration with the latest technology and the accessibility to global platforms have made the industry take a whole new perspective towards imparting knowledge to students. Though the current generation is much advanced and keep up with the…See More
