Back in September I shared a story with my staff; I spoke of the mustard seed and its microscopic size. I also spoke of how the mustard seed, small in size, when planted, grows to become a large tree. I also explained that if we each had the faith/belief the size of a mustard seed we had the ability to move mountains.

During the last few years we as a school leader I have spoken and read about diversity in the classroom. I have addressed the need to become culturally sensitive to meet the various needs of my students. During my research studies, I came across the Interpretive/Critical Continuum which is designed to serve as a self reflective tool based on the researcher's stance or position in relation to the specific research query.
