Hello friend. Just about the only time I come here is when I get a notice that someone has requested to be my friend. As you know, I mostly communicate via Twitter.

I've been a member here for a while, but just started playing around with it lately. figured if I want to teach teachers about pln, i should know about the 'educators pln' I'm a member of :) most of the teachers I know think twitter is a waste of time, I've almost got our teacher who teaches an Intro to Ed course to check it out with her classes. It is my addiction for this year!

good to talk to ya!

I know what you mean about the cities. According to almost all nonCalifornians that I've ever met they think we all surf, and although the state is huge it consists of LA, SF and SD. ;) I teach 9th grade intervention Language Arts, and 10th grade College Prep English. fun mix!

nice to meet you too! I am much more active on twitter than here, but am trying to expand my horizons, I'm thinking of teaching a workshop for my district about building your own pln, but not sure how to sell it to my colleages. the concept of pln is not widespread among my colleagues.

More Than a Sport: A Look at Scootering’s Evolution

Too many people do not have a clear idea about what is a Scooter; and much less than there is a sport based on it. Besides, it is a sport that has evolved a lot from its beginning, but if you do not know too much about the sport is hard to see it as more than a kid game. However, this sport is more than just kids and young people making scooter tricks in a square; scootering is a kind of culture and a lifestyle that has more than 20 years growing to become what it is today. For this reason, we…See More

Shawn Mitchell replied to Rob Schoonveld's discussion Twitter vs Edupln
"My preference is this website is best. Twitter is used for social purpose and EDUPLN is used for professional discussion which you cannot discuss on social platforms."
