Shamblesguru's PLN and Digital Footprint

In December 2008 I locked myself away for a day ... not to get away from all the digital data/information that was (is) flying around but to try and quantify and visualise it for myself.
The outcome is a PLN page on the Shambles website and a saner more controllable personal future ... and I sleep better at night.
So this was (is) my ongoing project taking back control of my life from the world ... I recommend this as an excersie for all digital netizens ... may the force stay with you.

Using an iPad as a Graphics Table

Posted on June 24, 2012 at 5:30am 0 Comments

This title is really the case study for a wider topic on Remote Apps.

For me this is one of the most exciting (tech) influences on mobile learning ... the interconnectivity between devices.

I have two folders on my iPad [Remote1 and Remote2] which are full of Apps that enable connectivity between the iPad and other devices ... and that connectivity can be both ways.

See the two screen shots below.…

Is Online Learning The Answer For The Coronavirus Closed Schools?

With the rapid spread of the Corona Virus, there has been a clarion call for schools to close and immediately shift to online learning in the interest of health and safety. With all that has been written and talked about in regard to “online learning” over the last decade, the perception is that now is a great time to put tech to work and implement this modern methodology to address our current situation and limit face-to-face exposure in order to self-quarantine a huge portion of our…See More
