I can understand how you can be overwhelmed, but this community is made up of educators and that gives our members an advantage over members of other communities. Teachers live to help others. Engage and these members will help you anyway they can. The site is loaded with helpful tutorials throughout. Go to the Main Page and you will find a written navigation explanation as well as a screenshot video tutorial.I have just friended you so we will appear together in a few places. The last thing we want people to think is that we have a bunch of closed cliques.Everyone is equal here but you may be judged by your collaboration skills. The more you put out, the more you get back. You can Lurk and Learn for awhile, but to really add to the experience and learn more, you will need to engage. Call on me if you need help. @tomwhitby on Twitter

WiDA Screener 2.0

I am an ESOL teacher in Fairfax County Public Schools in Fairfax, VA.  I work in an Entry Assessment Office and we use the WiDA Screener to identify students who are eligible for ESOL services.  I'm hoping to connect with other teachers who use the WiDA Screener to begin a discussion about its strengths, weaknesses, etc.  Hope to hear back from you!Joe HarrisSee More
