Continuing the shift towards on line learning

A warm shout out to everyone that comes across this blog. I am hoping to continue using technology within the classroom, however at a more consistent rate. Teaching part time in a private Catholic school, over a few faculty areas keeps me busy :) I am excited about learning and always have been. I am passionate about not becoming complacent and engaging in a balanced outlook on all areas of life. Sometimes I find we may all get "stuck in the ruck" and need that motivation and support to pull as out and send us on our merry way.  I will endeavour to keep you posted on my journey, which thus far is not as "technology integrated" as I would like it to be. My students have dabbled in movie making, online web quests and quizes and love using their Ipods to search for information faster than thru our school laptops. I am aiming to make more use of prezi, gloster and xtranormal this term, especially with my Year 9 Religion class who are studying The New Testament.  Last week I started a powerpoint quiz which I will share when completed. My Year 8 Re class are just about to hand in a phamplet for their unit on "The church spreads the Good news".  To conclude, here is a wonderful reflection about Change on the Irish Jesuit site "sacred space" .....http://www.sacredspace.ie/prayer-advice
