Need Advice on Career Assessments for High School Students

Hafa Adai and Warm Greetings from Guam!

I'm assembling a binder for my career exploration class that I'd like my students to use as reference material and useful resources.

Can anyone share reliable personal or career or skill assessments that I can add to the binder?

Thank you!

Amanda

In regard to my LiveBinder, it's a work in progress. Outside of this ning and Twitter, II have only shared it with a colleague in my Career/Business Ed dept at my high school and with a few grad-school classmates.  I plan on using it as a resource in my SY 2011-12 syllabi for Career Exploration, School-to-Work Program and Office Aides.  All roads will eventually lead to employment:)

Admittedly, I am in the process of learning Glogster and its Edu function.  I introduced it to my Career Education students earlier this week, going through online tutorials by Glogster and Discovery Ed.

I plan on using Glogster to recruit students into my School-to-Work Program here on Guam.  I'm marketing the program to CTE students on campus as another viable option for OJT and work experience.  I'll be sure to link up my interactive poster when it's complete.

What can you share with us about using Glogster?

Hi Amanda:

I looked at your first link in your LiveBinders tool. It is a career assessment system. How does it work? Have you tried using it on a small group of students? If so, what has their feedback been in terms of usability? What is your overall assessment of this tool?

Hello again!  Please take a look at the binder I am assembling.  I'm looking for more suggestions to better the binder.  I am also looking for free, reliable, online assessments that I can have my high-school students take.
