The popularity of online learning is becoming more visible as the need for quality learning among the students is sky-rocketing. And at the same time, traditional learning is becoming passé as it remains ineffective in imparting career-oriented courses. Online degree programmes, on the other hand, fulfilling its purpose of passing on knowledge to the learners that promise them a better job. I am going to explain the reason as simple as possible.

Online degree programme, unlike traditional one, is updated and up-to-the-minute, the kind of programme that is needed to get a decent job. The programme is structured and designed by experts all over the world rather than a programme constructed years ago by several educators in traditional learning institutes. Employers from all over the world are in search for people with hands-on experiences who can take responsibilities. It has also been said that learning online makes a student more disciplined because e-Learning is self-directed. Self-directed in the sense this mode of learning empowers them with further voice and choice. They are the one to make decisions about what to read and when to read.

Online degree courses are cost-effective. It could be the perfect option for the learners with a limited budget and wish to further their academic studies and career. A traditional degree will cost you much more than a digital degree.

Time-management is another big issue that can effect gaining additional degrees. Working professionals prefer learning online rather than having to quit their job and going back to colleges or universities. And students are more interested in gaining hands-on experiences that will enhance their possibility to get the desired job.

Online learning is surely the best and smartest option to get your career into a next level. Unlike traditional institutes online learning doesn’t bound the students with the particular time-line. E-learning is a self-directed way of learning where students are authorised with decision-making power, the power to choose courses and study-time. A student has to have enough inspiration in him to complete his lessons. And this inspiration, in the long run, results in making the students more responsible. This is the reason online degrees are gaining its value to the employers all over the world. When asked about the outcome of online learning, Reza Ali, director of new ventures at ACCA, says that

“Registration numbers show that the demand for flexible learning is here to stay. The positive and inspiring feedback from learners registered onto the courses tells us that students have not only been waiting for this type of course, they are eager to have the tools which will allow them to retrain for a new career or increase their knowledge.”

Online study programmes are making waves in the educational field as the need for active learning is soaring high. Without investing much of student's time and money they can obtain digital degrees. Learners of every age and background are zeroing in on this relatively new method of learning to upgrade their knowledge. As a result, Online degree courses are considered as the sine qua non of advanced education catering proper knowledge.

National Teacher Day was May 9th, and I wanted to recognize that in a small way. I had a graphic that I created for a previous Twitter Chat, so I opened it back up, changed the top, and posted it with two small sentences and hash tagged it with #NationalTeachersDay. I tagged my usual tribe in the graphic so they would re-tweet it for me; they’re awesome like that. After that, I went about my day.…See More
