Yes Marc!, I am completely agree with you.
Thanks for your comment. Perhaps what we consider to be essential subjects and concepts will be learned no matter what other topic you tackle... In order to get better at anything, language skills and many others are more than just likely to develop; you can't really get around them. Most of what we consider to be basics are actually cross-curricular; learning them in other contexts might very well be a lot more fruitful than the route we've been taking for the past decades. What's your take on this?
Nice concept. It is a right thing to motivate the students in his area of interest, but it is also important to learn every subject or concept a little. This concept is being followed today in some preschools or kindergarten. There kids are allowed to do or play or learn in the area of their interests. And of course i like the quote "It's not about making learning happen, it's about letting it happen." by Sugata Mitra. It's true.
