All principals would benefit from reflecting on these issues. On point 6: Is there no place for experienced teachers in our educational systems? I think we all need to reflect on what an experienced great teacher brings to the table and understand that is different, and valuable, compared to what a beginning great teacher provides.

Great perspective on leadership. It reflects DuFour and Marzano's (2009) idea of becoming a "Learning Leader" not an "Instructional Leader." The focus is on students and their learning. Period.
