Event Description

The goal of this learning opportunity is to harness the power ofweb resources to encourage students to explore, connect,

collaborate and learn. Participants will explore a variety of web2.0 applications that can be utilized to develop listening,

reading, writing and speaking skills in the LOTE classroom. Thisis a hands on, guided learning opportunity that will encourageparticipants to use web 2.0 applications to create their ownresources such as comic strip, 3D pop up books, digital books,Podcasts, online posters, avatars, QR codes and data drivenapplications. This learning opportunity addresses the New YorkState Standards for LOTE, The Common Core Standards, and The ISTE Standards.
