Event Description

Have you ever wondered what it really means to transform your district, school, or classroom to a 1:1 environment? It is a term we hear a lot, but not all can see it or experience it. With the takeoff of the iPad and its successor, the iPad 2, the education world is abuzz with the idea of moving towards a 1:1 environment. But is it practical? For some, it is a dream, a wish; for others, it is slowly becoming a reality. So what does a 1:1 environment look like? How will the students and teachers react? Is it the right direction to go?

On March 10, 2012 Burlington Public Schools will host The New England One to One Summit. This event is open to administrators, educators, and IT administration who are interested in learning more, and engaging with one to one and personalized learning initiatives. There will be featured speakers specifically for administrators, educators and IT administration. Session models will offer a variety of formats: workshops, presentations, and how to sessions. If you would like to submit a proposal to lead a conversation, please fill out the form below.

Presenter submissions are due by December 1st. Presenters will be notified by January 16th if their presentation has been accepted. If you are accepted, you will have until February 1 to cancel. Those not accepted will be placed on a wait list. If you want to present please fill out the form here

Andrew, thanks for the invite. I'll literally be running a marathon that morning. Sounds like a great event, and I'd love to visit Patrick's school!
