Does anyone know if someone has put together a list of RtI interventions that utilize Web 2.0 apps? It seems to me that if the traditional techniques have not improved reading, it would be valuable to explore taking advantage of Web 2.0 apps as interventions. Particularly, I would think this would be of value with those in Tier 3. I'm curious if anyone has any ideas or input on this.
How about using Flip Cams or Digital Storytelling Tools to record students Oral Reading Fluency (taking baseline using the DIBLES assessments)? You can then record Readers' Theaters, then rerecord ORF assessments and ask students to make self assessments.
You can use this website to check resources on both Flip Cams and Digital Storytelling- www.protopage.com/teachtech10.
