Wow! Great video and great initiative. Now, let me say something: Shelly Terrell is the most perfect example of engagement and collaborative attitudes that I have met in twitter. Engagement isn't only about to be a member of a PNL group or to be a spectator , rather it is about asking, sharing, asking for help, helping, contributing for the people's knowledge growth. Just to illustrate: 2 weeks ago I was “learning” how to use skype and Shelly immediately offered help. Maybe it seems so common but that is the kind of a simple attitude that make a huge difference. And I’d add many other moments and people from twitter that have a similar characteristic with Shelly. These people are able to help you without judging your level of knowledge. It’s fantastic because that’s the meaning of connecting, sharing, social communities.
I think we should reflect more about the true concept behind engagement in order to not be so superficial in our communication with others. I’d like to add the following comment by Randy Rodgers http://bit.ly/2NeUoW in Dr. Alec Couros’ post: “The Machine is (Changing) Us – Michael Wesch”.
